The families associated with the Peter Brown Family History lived in ENGLAND, primarily in Sussex and Surrey. Genealogy family tree information is provided using pedigree ancestry charts and family group descriptions.
The Brown (or Browne) families involved lived in Mid Sussex and East Surrey, England, in particular in the parishes of West Hoathly, East Grinstead, Fletching, Lingfield, Oxted and Horne. The related families of most of the wives of the Brown families came from these parishes or adjacent ones (including those in Kent). The one main exception to this is the Speight family tree which originates (with its associated related families) from Yorkshire, England.
The Peter Brown Family History web site contains over 250 pages of ancestry family tree information plus many other photos and documents, and information is still being transferred to the site from other genealogy records.
The basis of the web site is to focus on 'Family Groups' which is a family that had a grandparent of Peter Brown at its head. The family group shows children & grandchildren birth details, personal history, documents (wills, certificates, photos) plus information (including concerns) on authenticity of the genealogy information. Thus the information provided is more detailed than in a normal genealogy family tree.
Related family groups of the same name have been shown as pedigree ancestry charts showing all known generations taking generation zero as Peter Brown.
The main stem of the family tree is the Brown family and the overview is shown on the Brown Pedigree Ancestry Chart (which shows the parents of all generations that have been identified). However the Peter Brown Family History web site is also trying to cover the pedigree ancestry of the families of the women that married into the Brown group and their related families as this indentifies a number of indirect line ancestors of Peter Brown. The main family names that have at least four generations of genealogy information are Bones, Brown, Comber, Faulconer, Grove, Payne, Rhodes, Shirley, Speight, Streape, and Wicking. The pedigree ancestry charts and the genealogy family history information of these families and others are available in the Peter Brown Family History.
The overall family tree ancestry of Peter Brown is provided under Ancestry Chart. These charts show all the names that are heads of family groups and the generations to which they relate. The detailed genealogy information of each family can then be accessed for each name.
Other Facilities
The Name Search facility can be used to search alphabetically on the Peter Brown Family History web site for names that have family pedigree ancestry charts and to also find genealogy and family tree information via a more detailed search facility. I have collected genealogy information on the family name Brown from the parishes of Mid Sussex and East Surrey, England, and this has been made available via this search facility. In addition one can search alphabetically on all other indiviuals that have been referenced in the family groups.There are over 4800 parish record entries.
