Richard Underhill was baptised on 3rd August 1561 and was the son of Richard Underhill & Ellen. He was mentioned in Ellen's Will of 1581 as being her son and Executor. This link is Guesswork. He possibly married firstly Joan Giles on 23^rd November 1581 in Lingfield, Surrey and they had six children (1-6). Joan was buried there on 11^th November 1603 ('wife of Richard'). He married secondly Jane and they had two children (7-8). Jane was buried on 26^th May 1610 in Lingfield, Surrey ('wife of Richard'). Richard may have married thirdly Joan Baynett on 8^th October 1610 in Lingfield, Surrey. Richard was possibly buried on 28^th August 1612 in Lingfield, Surrey

Richard Underhill was baptised on 29^th March 1582 in Lingfield, Surrey and was buried there on 29^th March 1582 ('son of Richard').
Joan Underhill (Joane) was baptised on 17^th March 1583 in Lingfield, Surrey. She married William Hoggett on 31^st May 1607. William was the son of George Hoggette & Margaret Isted baptised on 10^th February 1582 in Lingfield. Joan & William were mentioned in her brother Francis's 'Will' of 1619 and William was Executor.. They had a child.
1. Joan Hoggett (mentioned in her uncle Francis's 'Will' of 1619).
Francis Underhill was baptised on 12^th September 1585 in Lingfield, Surrey and was buried there on 14^th June 1619. He was a bachelor and left a 'Will' that was dated 11^th June 1619.
William Underhill was baptised on 22^nd June 1589 in Lingfield, Surrey and was mentioned in his brother Francis's 'Will' of 1619 and was also Executor. He married Frances Chippingdale. Details of William Underhill & Frances Chippingdale are shown separately as they are direct ancestors.
Richard Underhill was baptised on 10^th December 1592 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his brother Francis's 'Will' of 1619. He maybe married Elizabeth Norman on 11^th May 1617 in Lingfield, Surrey. Richard & Elizabeth had possibly three children.
1. Marie Underhill was baptised on 1^st February 1618 in Lingfield, Surrey ('daughter of Richard junior').
2. Richard Underhill was buried on 2^nd October 1625 in Lingfield, Surrey ('son of Richard').
3. Richard Underhill was buried on 22^nd February 1626 in Lingfield, Surrey ('son of Richard').
Margaret Underhill was baptised on 22^nd February 1596 in Lingfield, Surrey. She was mentioned in her brother Francis's 'Will' of 1619 as being unmarried at that time.
Thomas Underhill was baptised on 28^th October 1604 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his brother Francis's 'Will' of 1619. The following two children may have been his.
1. Ano Underhill was buried on 13^th January 1632 in Lingfield, Surrey (child of Thomas)
2. Ano Underhill was buried on 12^th January 1635 in Lingfield, Surrey. (child of Thomas)
George Underhill was baptised on 12^th October 1606 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his brother Francis's 'Will' of 1619.

Wills:

Francis Underhill (Family ref 3) left a 'Will' that was dated 11^th June 1619 and was proved on 24^th June 1619 (ref SW/9_539). In the 'Will' he mentions his brothers William, Thomas, George, Richard; his sister Margaret; his brother in law William Hoggett & daughterJoan & Neice/nephew: Francis son of William, Joan Hoggett dau of William & Others: William Plowe, Richard Saxby, Thomas Carr, Henry Smyth.
