3. William Brown was baptised on 11^th January 1709 in Rotherfield, Sussex. He was mentioned in his grandfathers will of 1710. He possibly married Mary Davies (a widow) on 9^th April 1738 in Maresfield, Sussex. William & Mary had three children.
   1. William Brown was baptised on 28^th April 1739 in Maresfield, Sussex. He was possibly buried on 13^th December 1745 in Buxted, Sussex.
   2. John Brown was baptised on 28^th June 1741 in Maresfield, Sussex. He possibly married Tabitha and had four children. Tabitha was buried on 29^th May 1808 in Maresfield, Sussex ('aged 58'). John & Tabitha had four children.
      1. Anne Brown (Ann) was baptised on 10^th June 1770 in Maresfield, Sussex. She was buried there on 16^th November 1770 ('Ann, infant').

      3. James Brown was baptised on 18^th February 1776 in Buxted, Sussex.

6. Thomas Brown was baptised on 14^th August 1716 in Rotherfield, Sussex. He probably firstly married Alice Ashdowne on 2^nd October 1739 in Lewes, Sussex (Thomas from Rotherfield). Alice was buried on 13^th November 1762 in Rotherfield, Sussex ('wife of Thomas'). Thomas married secondly Mary Medhurst on 8^th October 1763 in Rotherfield, Sussex ( Thomas shown as widower and second marriage). Thomas left a 'Will' dated 1^st August 1773 and he was buried on 1^st January 1774 in Rotherfield, Sussex.. The 'Will' mentions his wife Mary and also mentions "Lord of the manor of Rotherfield". Thomas & Alice had six children(a-f) and Thomas & Mary had three children (g-i)

   2. William Brown was possibly baptised on 19^th March 1743 in Rotherfield, Sussex (NOT IN REGISTER). He was mentioned in his fathers 'Will' of 1773. He possibly married Mary Cozens on 4^th November 1769 in Rotherfield, Sussex. William left a 'Will' that was proven on 15^th November 1798, and he was buried on 19^th June 1798 in Rotherfield, Sussex ('of Hodges'). William & Mary had three children and Mary was mentioned in her husbands 'Will' of 1798.

8. Richard Brown was baptised on 27^th February 1720 in Rotherfield, Sussex. He possibly married Susanna Relfe (Susannah) on 8^th October 1746 in Maresfield, Sussex. (Richard from Fletching). Richard left a 'Will' that was dated 22^nd November 1768 and he was buried on 3^rd April 1769 in Maresfield, Sussex and Susannah was buried there on 21^st November 1791. Susannah left a 'Will' that was proven on 4^th January 1792. Richard & Susannah had six children (as stated in the 'will').
   1. Susanna Brown (Susannah) was baptised on 26^th July 1747 in Fletching, Sussex
   2. Anne Brown was baptised on 20^th October 1748 in Fletching, Sussex
   3. Richard Brown was baptised on 31^st May 1750 in Fletching, Sussex. He possibly married Frances Whitpaine on 13^th November 1775 in Brighton, Sussex. Richard was probably buried on 10^th August 1795 in Lindfield, Sussex and Frances was buried there on 5^th March 1797. Richard & Frances had six children.
      1. Henry Whitburn Brown was baptised on 8^th October 1776 in Lindfield, Sussex.
      2. Sarah Brown was baptised on 18^th March 1778 in Lindfield, Sussex.
