Israel Rhodes & Phillis sayner were one of my 4th generation ancestors.

Israel Rhodes was baptised on 28th March 1813 in Rothwell, Yorkshire, the son of James Rhodes & Sarah Craggs. He married firstly Elizabeth in about 1837 and they had six children (1-6). He married secondly Phillis Sayner on 12th May 1853 in Barwick in Elmer, Yorkshire (Source is certificate- Israel shown as age 40 & widower, son of James; Phillis shown as age 34 and daughter of Abrham) and they had five children. Israel died in about February 1886 (aged 72) in Hunslet, Yorkshire.
Phillis Sayner was born in about 1819 in Pontefract, Yorkshire, the daughter of Abraham Sayner & Alice. Abraham & Alice later (1841) lived in Hambleton, Yorkshire with other Sayner families. In 1861 census Abraham is shown as widower, age 76 from Brayton visiting Elias Sayner age 81 (presume brother) also from Brayton. In 1841 census shows Abraham 50, Alice 55 and Filis 20. Phillis died in about November 1896 (aged 78) in Hunslet, Yorkshire.
Israel & Phillis had eleven known children.

Israel Rhodes
Marriage at church in 'Barwick in Elmer'. Witnesses of marriage unclear. ? Sayner and ??. Israel was a Widower at time of his second marriage.
On the 1841, 1861 & 1881 census and on Francis George's birth certificate, Israel Rhodes occupation was Stone Merchant. On Francis George's marriage certificate both Israel and son Francis are shown as Farmers.
At the time of the 1841 census he and his family were living with his parents James & Sarah in Quarry Hill, Oulton. At the time of the 1861 census he and his family were living at 'Hollow Bank!', Dicksons Row, Rothwell and he was a Stone Merchant. His brother James & family and his brother William were also living there. At the time of the 1871 census he and his family were living at Hob Lane, Oulton. At the time of the 1881 census he and his family were living at Mount Pleasant, Oulton
James Rhodes
Occupation was Cowkeeper at time of 1901 Census. Year of birth shown as 1854 (age 46), whereas in 1881 census year of birth shown as 1855 (age 25). Lived at Mount Pleasant, Oulton.- same place as Father in 1881.
Original occupation shown as Stone Mason in 1881. Cow Keeper consistent with Israel and Francis becoming Farmers.
No children shown in 1901.
Father in law, James Kaye, aged 80 from Hippax! also lived with family at time of 1901 census
