Charlton Dobson was baptised on 12^th April 1767 in Sunderland, Durham. He was the son of Edward Dobson & Isabella Charleton. Charlton married firstly Mary in about 1793. He married secondly Frances Horsley on 13^th August 1798 in Sunderland, Durham. (Source is history source & unconfirmed)

Frances Horsley was baptised on 24^th November 1776 in Hartlepool, Co Durham. She was the daughter of George Horsley & Elizabeth Brown.
