John Bland was born on 24th September 1826 in Easingwold, North Yorkshire, the son of Thomas Bland & Hannah Johnson . He married Fanny France in about November 1849 in Hull RD, East Yorkshire. John died in about August 1902 (aged 76) probably in Snaith (in the registration district of Goole).

Fanny France was baptised on 18th April 1824 in Cowick, Snaith, Yorkshire, the daughter of Peter France & Fanny Green. Fanny died in about November 1911 (aged 86) probably in Snaith (in the registration district of Goole).

  1. Anne Elizabeth Bland was baptised on 30th May 1852 in Bately, Yorkshire. (Source is IGI) and was registered in Dewsbury RD in May 1852. Anne was a dress maker.
  2. Ada Bland was born in about November 1853 in Dewsbury RD, Yorkshire (possibly in Bately).
  3. Peter France Bland was born in about August 1856 in Goole RD, Yorkshire (probably in Snaith). He married Mary Ellen Jackson in about February 1883 in Goole RD, Yorkshire. Peter & Mary had possibly two children.
    1. Eva Maria Bland was born in about August 1883 in Goole RD, Yorkshire (probably in Snaith).
    2. Mary Anne Bland was born in about May 1888 in Goole RD, Yorkshire (probably in Snaith) and died there the same month.
  4. Fanny Mary Hannah Bland was born on 22nd February 1859 in Snaith, Yorkshire and her birth was registered on 5th April 1859 in Goole RD, Yorkshire. She married Francis Rhodes. Details of Francis Rhodes & Fanny Bland are shown separately as they are direct ancestors.
